Golden Sour fermented with aged hops and a mixed culture, aged in select oak barrels. Refermented with four pounds per gallon of peaches, raspberries and apricots. The nose is bright with sweet raspberry, cherry candy and fresh strawberies, but only a light fuzzy peach note. The oak presents itself as vanilla and spice, and there is a lactic note that reminds of cherry yogurt. Tart in flavour with lemon and more cherry and raspberry notes. Light bodied, high carbonation, no detectable bitter and balance a tad on the sweet side.
